Reset User Password in Database Mode

In database authentication mode, the Harbor system administrator can reset passwords for the specified users.

  1. Log in to the Harbor interface with an account that has Harbor system administrator privileges.

  2. Under Administration, go to Users.


  3. Select an user then click the Reset Password button under the Actions dropdown.


  4. Enter a new password for the selected user.


  • You are not allowed to reset your own password
  • The new password must contain at least 8 characters with 1 lowercase letter, 1 uppercase letter and 1 numeric character
